Yala National Park is Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife reserve, renowned for having one of the highest leopard densities in the world. From open grasslands to lagoons and dense forests, Yala offers an unforgettable safari experience in the island’s wild southeast.
Yala is globally known for its Sri Lankan leopards. Early morning and late afternoon safaris offer the best chance to spot these elusive big cats in their natural habitat.
